WOER's cold-applied cable boots offer versatile solutions with optional collars to accommodate smaller bushing sizes. Made of high-grade silicone rubber, they provide superior tracking/erosion resistance and unlimited shelf life. These removable, reusable boots allow immediate energization after installation. Fast, simple installation with custom sizing/color options available upon request.
Appearance inspection: Check whether the surface is smooth, no bubbles, no cracks and other defects.
Dimensional inspection: To ensure that the dimensions meet the design requirements, especially the inner diameter and wall thickness.
Electrical performance test: insulation resistance, voltage resistance test, etc., to ensure electrical performance standards.
Mechanical properties test: test tensile strength, tear strength, elastic recovery rate, etc.
WOER elastomeric insulating boots are molded parts which fit over the connection between the cable lug and the inline or right-angled bushing to improve phase-to-phase and phase-to-ground insulation. They are used in switch gears and transformers where the clearances are insufficient for normal operation, or to protect against flashover rodents or high humidity.
